1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. Similar technologies (local storage, pixels) are covered by this policy too. Postbing uses as few as possible.
2. Cookies we set
- Essential (always on): the
sessioncookie that keeps you logged in and protects forms against cross-site request forgery, and a local-storage entry that remembers your cookie choice. The service does not work without them, so no consent is needed. - Analytics (only with your consent): Google Analytics cookies (
_ga,_ga_*) that tell us which pages are visited and how people move through the site. They are set only after you choose Accept all in the cookie banner; until then Google's consent mode keeps analytics storage switched off. - Cookieless analytics: Simple Analytics counts page views without cookies, fingerprints or personal data, so it runs without consent.
3. Third-party cookies
When you pay by card, Stripe's checkout and billing portal set their own cookies for fraud prevention under Stripe's privacy policy. If you use the Postbing app for Shopify, Shopify's admin sets its own cookies under Shopify's privacy policy. We do not use advertising cookies.
4. Your choices
Pick Essential only or Accept all in the banner. To change your choice later, clear this site's data in your browser and the banner will ask again. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or install Google's Analytics opt-out add-on. Blocking essential cookies will log you out.
